There are many ways to purchase a vehicle.
There are all sorts of ways to find a cheaper price.
Did you get a great deal?
Did you get what you paid for?
Wat it all boils down to, is understanding the intended use or need for the vehicle about to be purchased, and then obtaining that at an affordable price.
The old saying, " comparing apples to oranges" should be referenced here.
If you intend to purchase a vehicle and have it worry free the entire length of the finance period, then only a reputable dealership can fulfill that role. If you are so blessed as to pay cash, you can't afford to shortchange your own wallet by taking a gamble on lesser service or incompetence.
A dealership's reputation is built, one customer at a time, no matter how large it may be (or how small...) on its employees, not it's landscape or inventory.
Taking this into consideration, I found Mullinax Ford to be just such a dealership.
Reputable.
From the moment I first spoke with my salesman, Garrett Yeager, untill I set before the Finance Manager, Brandon Burke, I realized every single dollar figure, vehicle feature, service offer or any other point of interest had been honestly met and delivered.
When there are no surprises at the time of signing the actual purchase contract, then and only then can you realize that you have bought your vehicle from a dealership that is professional, up front and above all, honest.
I just turned 60 in May, and this is the first vehicle I've ever purchased brand new in my entire life. I wish I could afford to buy another new vehicle, because if I could, it would only be for Mullinax Ford of Kissimmee.
I had more questions and detail curiosities as this particular Transit van is to transport my special needs daughter. Our old Van, a 1997 e150 Ford, had finally reached the point where maintenance became more than half the monthly expense of owning new.
Reliability here was the issue, that the old van was no longer so. We could no longer take a chance on our precious daughters transportation needs in a vehicle that we wouldn't trust to travel more than 25 miles.
I saved every single screenshot, text message and email and reviewed all of them throughout this process. When it came time to sign the contract, the figures I had in front of me, were the same ones that I began with at the start of this venture.
Mullinax Ford has a fantastic business mantra, and Garrett Yeager and Branden Burke exemplify this in all respects. These two gentlemen are why I made my decision to purchase from Mullinax of Kissimmee.
(Side note: I purchase a used truck from Mullinax in Apopka back in 2007, and found their no nonsense pricing and professional sales staff back then to be the same thing it is today.)
When you know what you need, and get what you paid for, you wil realize the best rate is not the cheapest price....nor is it the most expensive item.
